I know there are other threads about this topic here, but they've all been dead since like 2004 or 2005, so, here's a fresh one!

I know the Xenosaga movie trilogy has been more popular recently, but back in the 'day', Xenogears was definitely the most awesome RPG I'd played, and I remember wanting to cosplay from it before I even knew what cosplay was!

So are there any others out there who cosplay a Xenogears or Xenosaga character regularly? I'm personally busting my butt to get my Fei Fong Wong done in time for Otakon; it's kind of a last-minute thing, but it'll look really good, I promise ^_^

Aw Marggie yay! That'd be awesome. I just finished the sandals tonight... they look SO GOOD, I'm so proud of them, they are completely accurate ^_^ I'll post pics... eventually :3 (Definitely before the con, though)

My only complaint is my hair isn't as long as his, but eh, it'll be fine Thanks in advance for the picture!! The best part about an obscure cosplay is that the people who DO recognise you really love it

I'd love to make an Elly costume one day, but it seems a bit out of my league at the moment.. heh, maybe sometime in the upcoming years. ^^

That's funny - Xenogears is really undercosplayed - especially in germany where the game was never released. I did Elly and Fei with my bf 2 weeks ago

Oh, yeah, that's true. In Germany there are hardly any Xenogears cosplayers. I remember seeing a Fei at AnimagiC 1999 though, that was pretty cool! He looked great! ^^

I actually thought about cosplaying Miang because I thought she was pretty cool. Maybe I will do that someday! ^^

I can't tell you how much of a rabid fan I am of that game XD

It is definetly in my plans to cosplay as a Xeongears character reguarly! Unfortunately I don't really have the funds or skills right now, but maybe if I start planning now it could be a possibility in '07 ^^

It's so undercosplayed, so hopefully this thread will inspire more people to cosplay it!

Yeah, hopefully! But it's not exactly the most active thread in the world

I debuted my Fei Fong Wong at Otakon this past weekend and only three people recognised me, one of which was Eurobeat (and I ended up looking totally stupid in the pictures he took because he caught me off guard XD). Meh. The shirt was done in one night before the con, so it'll end up looking better by the time AUSA rolls around.

You should do a cosplay, though!

Eep! Okay, okay, I need to get crackin on all my galleries and cosplay pictures anyway.. I guess I'll do that while I'm waiting for something to do at work ^_^;;; More to come later! Just don't shoot me!

Edit: The gallery is up. There's only one picture, because only three people took my picture at Otakon, Eurobeat being one of them. No clue about the others. ^^; It'll look better for AUSA, I promise.

That'd be cool ^^ We should have a Xenogears cosplay group for photoshoots :3 (Just keep in mind I haven't beaten the game yet, so no spoilers! ^_^ )

Edit: Totally, since you hit up all the same cons we do! Though I'm probably gonna trade AMA for Animazement :3

I've always wanted to do a Xenogears cosplay, but I definitely think Elly is still out of my league. Maybe if it was the only cosplay I worked on for the next year... Nah... I don't have the attention span for that. Lol.
