Colouring eyebrows

Hi

Is there a decent method to dye eyebrows?
I have dark eyebrows (as you can see in my avatar) but need them dyed blonde. The thing is: i really dont want to do this permanent bleaching oxyde thing. i want them fair for just one day.
if it looks good from the distance i would be happy.

Any suggestions?

I don't have a solution, but I really want to find one, because although I don't want them BLONDE, I would like them lighter than jet black for cosplay >O

I too have dark, thicker eyebrows and two of the three costumes I've worn involved lighter eyebrows. The last wig I wore (for Kadaj from Final Fantasy Advent Children) is a silvery/grey color. So we ended up finding a way to get the eyebrows to work for us without using any weird dyes or add ons. We used three steps.....

1. We used the colored hair glue (the extreme gel stuff) as our base (they do sell colors). We used that in white and rubbed it in and brushed the eyebrows the way we wanted to.

2. Used the 'Santa White' (hair color that can be bought in costume shops or online by Ben-Nye. Used for what the name implies...looks sort of like whiteout) color to sort of 'drybrush' over the white we previously added. We used a eyelash brush to brush out and smooth the clumps.

3.When those two layers were dry enough (only takes a few minutes) we then took a Ben-Nye grey colored creme make up and applied that over the white.

So it helped that the base color was now lighter (the white) and that it was realitively tacky and held the grey on pretty much all day. I don't think I ever had to touch it up. So you might try that with different colors. Get the base light, and work from there with different shades of creme stuff.

I look like a zombie, but you can see that my eyebrows match my wig better and are not dark brown. http://images.cosplay.com/showphoto.php?photo=757087

Normal color is this http://www.deviantart.com/view/37065239/

Good site to buy theater makeup is www.stagemakeuponline.com and check out their Ben-Nye Section.

I remember going into a local costume/theatre store and they suggested to change the colors of your eyebrows get some soap with a wax base and apply a few layers on each eyebrow (make sure each layer is dry before applying the next), and then when all the layers are dry add a color coat (the ben nye makeup should do), or maybe some face paint.

My sister who has been wearing a blonde wig for a costume simply went to a makeup store and asked about eye brow makeup and suprisingly they did had them in both liquid and powder form.

I've never gone for a super light shade but I found eyeshadow works. Applying foundation to lighten it up helps as well since I too have pretty dark eyebrows (black to be precise)
