I don't recall the specifics of what Edea's headgear looks like, but I seem to recall seeing one awhile back who made it using Sculpey and parts were stuffed fabric. Not sure how much that helps...

I just finished one so you can learn from my mistakes:

If you use paper mache for the base make it on a foam headform that you can buy at any beauty supply store.....making the paper mache on you hair is a bad idea because it will get all in you hair and it takes a couple of days to dry....

Let the paper mache dry for a long time....

Use sandpaper to smooth down the base....

I would use a acrylic base paint to paint it with then add the white....after this is fully dried paint it with a gloss finish...

To make the stuff on the headpiece I would use something called Model Magic which is made by Crayola. It is a type of foam that dries a day after you craft the pieces. Then paint them in acrylic and enamel paints. After fully dry coat them in a dry sealent to make them harder.....

Making the horns and stuff really is not hard......just make sure they are thick..also make sure you include her often forgotten earring and all the beads on the headpiece

The true trick is getting everything on the helmet, which quite frankly was a pain in the ass. I would use hot glue because it dries pretty quickly and stay away from regular glue. This will take a long time to do and you have to be really gentle.....I would reccomend attacking things to the helmet while it is on the stand....

As for any other stuff...

Don't do it last minute....*cries*.....

Hope that helped ^_^
