Va Cosplay Party October 28th. Hollowcon

8209 Marcy Ave, Springfield, VA
Cost: $5 (to help cover the cost of food, decorations, prizes, etc)

Hi cosplayers we are going to have a a cosplay party on October 28th here in the Northern Virginia Area.

Cosplay Contest
Small Masquerade/LARP/Improve
Door Prizes and Raffles
Ouran Host Club Dance (All Ouran host members please come)
Wrap the Mummy: (Each Team will have to wrap a designated person in their group with Toilet paper winner gets a prize)
Rave. (Strobe Lights, Looking for a good DJ)
Treasure Hunt

Oh yeah Drinks and Snacks (AND CANDY) will be provided.

Me and Lycoris are planning a big cosplay party on October 28th. We have recruited Mandyness to help plan things out. I know some of us are too big for Halloween and some dont celebrate it at all so here is a way to help. So introducing Hollowcon 2006 inspired by Bleach. We are working the kinks out but here is what we will have:

We may have some sponsors so look out for them.

Oh yeah Drinks and Snacks will be provided.

Oh yeah come in Otaku cosplay. Will provide further details when we get everything sorted out. Thanks Guys

Coming South
Merge onto I-95 S

Take the VA-644 W / OLD KEENE MILL RD exit toward SPRINGFIELD

Merge onto OLD KEENE MILL RD / VA-644 W via the ramp on the LEFT toward VA-617 S.

Turn SHARP LEFT onto VA-638 S / ROLLING RD. Continue to follow VA-638 S

Turn LEFT onto GREELEY BLVD

Turn LEFT onto CARR PL.

Turn LEFT onto MARCY AVE

Coming North:
Merge onto I-95 N toward WASHINGTON

Take EXIT 169A-B toward VA-644 / FRANCONIA / SPRINGFIELD

Merge onto VA-644 W via EXIT 169B on the LEFT toward OLD KEENE MILL RD/ SPRINGFIELD

Springfield Va is where it will be. Thats about 15-20 min from Katsu and about 10 min from AUSA.

Hm...as for costumes, I may be able to get Deidara/SnJ Deidara together in time! If not, I'll go in my good ol' Temari cosplay.

Wow! Glad to see there's some interest in this! We'll try our best to make this event a success and feel free to tell us if you have any suggestions!

You tell them buddy. Oh yeah we are going to have Photoshoots for all the people. You dont have to wear bleach cosplay we want everyone to come from different series and games. Just dont feel it is only bleach related.

Sounds interesting. If I attend this party would I be able to bring 5 guests who aren't a part of this forum who just want to dress up.

Thanks I appreciate your being open to allowing all the people I mentioned to come to the party, unfortunately some things have changed. You know how it is with work and other unexpected things. So, I’m sorry to say that I won’t be able to make it to this party and neither will a lot of the other people who were seriously thinking about going

HOLY COW. COUNT ME IN. I was just talking to my friends and whining about not having anything to do for Halloween. As for costumes, I got no idea. My planned Wiimote costume is too cumbersome for this sorta event so we'll see what I'll be wearing.

I'd absolutely LOVE to attend and I'd be happy to volunteer if you need help.

Quick question: Can I tell a few friends at school about this event? I have a few anime friends who would prolly want to go too.
