My last three wig purchases were from Cosworx:
Party Page in Lava http://images.cosplay.com/showphoto.php?photo=754985 Lava is made up of red and orange fibers in a 1:2 mix, and I really liked the depth of color it had. I used extensions of silky braid from Drlocks in red and orange. (The photo shows my partially-styled messy wig-with extensions) Party page is good if you need bangs, a ponytial and mullety hair in the back. Marcy in 12-Light Golden Brown. A standard, nice bob that needed minimal styling. It also fit my boyfriend's rather large head. http://images.cosplay.com/showphoto.php?photo=802988 (far right for Marcy, center for party page) Linda in 33--Dark Auburn http://images.cosplay.com/showphoto.php?photo=923117 http://images.cosplay.com/showphoto.php?photo=924263 I needed a longer wig to generate Fuu's "bun" in the back, and this is thick enough that I was able to pull the hair back into a ponytail without needing extensions. The hair is a little too wavy and frizzy after AUSA, so I need to tame it a little more. Otherwise, it was easy to style. I had to color correct the photos, so keep that in mind. ~~Parasaur.

Secret in Black Cherry
http://images.cosplay.com/showphoto.php?photo=898218 The Black Cherry color is a black-deep purple blend, which is a great option for characters with really dark purple hair. I straightened the wig a bit and changed the part, and also trimmed it here and there. It can be a bit tricky to straighten, but that's just because the hair is so short and curled under - the fibers respond very well to heat. |

This is my only wig from Cosworx so far. It's a Linda in H.Red (Henna Red). The bangs were cut in to it, and the rest of it was trimmed a few inches for my Kairi costume.

I finally finished a costume I ordered a CosWorx wig for. XD
Here's the gallery: http://www.cosplay.com/gallery/64470/ This is an April wig in Medium Brown - 8 as a base with three extensions from drlocks.net in the same color (two for each braid loop and one split in two for the ponytails).  The April wig was cut only really in back since it started out a bit too long for the character. The front that looks all nice and anime layerish was originally that way on the wig!  I love it.

This started out as an Angela 750 in Henna Red, straightened using a tutorial from Katie Bair's website (there are some more progress shots in my gallery). Maybe it's just my monitor, but the wig color looks dark/deep red in person, compared to the pictures on the CosWorx website. This is my first CosWorx wig and styling job, I'm very pleased with how it came out! |

China girl in 6-Brown. The ends were straitened with a cheap straitening iron for Haku's choppy style. I've heard people say china girl wigs aren't normally of high quality but this one was great, I got lots of compliments on it, and I love it. ^^ Last edited by Bahzi : 02-11-2007 at 06:37 PM. |

A Punky in light blue. I trimmed the back and sides, hairsprayed it to death, then went through and put some styling wax on the bangs and back of the mullet.
