~_~ I've been kinda dead~~ haha for now~

Most korean stars look pretty... generic now~ Nothing really setting them apart from normal wear? Not like visual kei or whatever~

Some have cute costumes... but that was when pop was really popular in korea~ like the H.O.T and early Shinhwa days~ Now everything is all r&b and hiphop and whatnot... pop is still there, but not as prominent?!

I don't know~ Maybe some other new groups will come out~ Korea seems to be spouting new groups/singers left, right and center! I can't keep up with them all~

I loved H.O.T ... TT_TT too bad they broke up....
I liked suh te ji (sp ??) too XDD He started the teen idol thing in korea T_T..
but yes, please someone out there cosplay HOT!! they are very awesome XD

I remember there was someone on cosplay.com who cosplayed HOT... he went as Kangta~ AND HE LOOKED SO COOL O_O

SES...brings back fond memories of their music video (which i'm watching right now!) to "I'm Your Girl" which is one of the most influential kpop songs of all time...they have these cute black outfits on, which they reverse the color to white later in the video...those black outfits would be VERY recognizable if a group cosplay was done....

H.O.T.'s Candy was HUGE...Kangta is now on to a solo career...a few months back released a song with Vaness called "Scandal"...remember JTL's music video/song "A Better Day"?? that song and video was about the breakup of H.O.T.

As for Seo Taiji and Boys...I would either cosplay him (Seo Taiji) or Se7en....old school Seo Taiji's outfits were pretty recognizable...only amongst kpop fans i guess...!!

*Lainey mentioned a KPOP cosplay group in Canada next year...if any of you ever consider going to like Youmacon in Detroit, MI, i would love to do a kpop cosplay group with all of you there!

^I'm good with CNAnime...it appears it is held sometime in August? So I will put that on the convention schedule for August 2007! That should be a good time to be in Toronto, the weather should be nice, and plus it seems there's so much stuff going on in Toronto around that time! I think the Toronto Film Festival might be around that time?

Anyway, what do people want to cosplay? Are we thinking artists all under the same record label? Or just various kpop stars? Most likely i would do Seo Taiji or Se7en...i have no preference though...i was thinking too, a medley skit would be kinda cool to do, if we took 30 second clips from each of the artists/groups we cosplayed, and we put together the classic dance moves for each song...at least amongst the korean folk, that would bring back quite a few memories!!!

For anyone thinking of an SES cosplay, i was just watching the video to "Dreams Come True"...they wear white suits and they also have like grey suits with yellow shirts....back in the day SES would make a terrific kpop cosplay for the ladies, plus it's a pretty simple cosplay....as well as very recognizable and popular!...of course probably only amongst the Korean folk or kpop fandom!!
