Cosplay.com Picnic - May 4th in Irvine, CA

This is a pre-announcement (if there is such a thing) of our next Cosplay.com photo gathering. We're currently in the planning stages of an official Cosplay.com picnic in Irvine, CA on Saturday, May 4th. We will post more info on the location in the coming days but I wanted to get the announcement out now so that everyone can plan ahead. This will probably be an all-day event.

We have it down to a couple of places in Irvine and we're leaning toward Mason Regional Park as it has been recommended to us by a couple of people. I'll be going there over the weekend to scout it out a bit and make sure it can accomodate us for a mid-size outing as well as double as a usable photo backdrop.

If anyone has any comments please post them here in this thread. Again, this is a very early announcement and the details aren't finalized but for now, the date and place are tentatively set.

Yes, Michi wants to go! When I'm in SoCal from the 1-5 of May, I'll be staying within 45 minutes to an hour of Irvine.. So if I manage a ride, I can make it. Perhaps the friend I'm visiting can take me... uhuhuu..^^

Yes they can x_x;; Or long enough to dis-allow a trip from San Diego to Irvine for the purpose of cosplay. Your SATs are way more important.

Greetings all,

I'd love to go but there are a couple problems:

1. I work on Saturday and I'm really needed at work.

2. I have no way to get there.

I wish that the gathering planned in the L.A. area could be planned for a Sunday... I may be able to get my parents to drive me if these are all day things.
