jill valentine costume help
hello everyone. i'm new to the site and i am hoping a more seasoned cosplayer could give me some advice on my jill valentine costume. i am doing her in her stars uniform, where she has the blue shoulder strap things. these are the main problem i am having. any suggestions on how to make them? what material i should use? any help would be greatly appreciated. the costume is coming along great, but i am stuck on this particular piece. thanks in advance!
oh and sorry if this is in the wrong forum, like i said im new. be gentle. |

For my Jill costume, i used the same fabric as the hat to make the shoulderpads. I stuffed them and then put wire underneath to make it keep its shape and not stick out. Mine are attached to the black harness thing she wears in the REmake version. But if you're doing the original RE1 i guess you could velcro it to the shirt or something.

Vinyl and the rectangle foam stuff. Mine were made by a friend for me. I was poor trying to finish the costume. It worked really, really well, though I still have some stuff to alter. He used snaps to hold them down. If you want a lot of RE costume help, drop by here: http://forums.cosplay.com/showthread.php?t=47209
You can get a lot of good advice there.
