Crossplay or not...hmm
I'm curious, would you consider a costume crossplay if a girl dresses up as a guy character, but makes the costume more feminine? For example, I've seen quite a few female versions of Vash and Wolfwood running around. I was just wondering if this would be considered crossplay, or if it is something else entirely. Perhaps more of an "original character" type thing than anything else? *ponders* Don't know why the thought struck me really... but I was just wondering... ^^'

I don't think it's really crossplay then. ^^; Just cosplay. Crossplay is.. dressing as the opposite gender, which those Vashes and Wolfwoods in short skirts aren't. :P I've thought about doing something like that, but decided against it. o_o

*nods* I don't consider my Seifer costume "crossplay" at all. ^___^

If you are a female, and you cosplay a female version of a male character, you're not crossplaying, because the character your cosplaying is female, and you're female, so there is no "cross dressing" involved.
