Is plagiarism allowed on this site? A good friend of mine posted a detailed opening post for a Member Gathering, only to have it taken mostly word for word aside from the when/where/who details and posted without her permission for another gathering.

Just wondering, but why don't te little words non-cosplay image appear under an image like that anymore (or is it just me)? When i look under my non-cosplay photo section they're there, but the words aren't under the actual image when you view it. Is that normal?

...Er, what? Can you maybe PM me the information with links? It doesn't sound like this is so much plagiarism as much as just... copying a format, but if it really bugs your friend I can talk to the user in question.

Stupid question (but I don't see it on here): how do I make a particular photo the icon for a gallery?

I did it once with my Sora costume, but I can't figure out how X_X

I'm not talking about the one that shows up when you search (that's the tutorial that IS on here) I'm talking about the one that shows up if you click on the user's galleries, and there is an icon for each.

I think it's the most recent photo in your gallery, either that other most recently updated one.

I don't want to start a new thread for this, so I thought I'd put it here.

I've added two new albums within the last six months and have come to realize that they are not visible on my main photo page to others. The photos I transferred over there are still uploaded, however, their galleries (http://www.cosplay.com/gallery/140873/ and http://www.cosplay.com/gallery/134921/) while they do exist, do not appear under my list of galleries when viewed by another member--it only shows nineteen. I realize I have a lot of galleries, and I'm wondering is there some kind of cut off before 20? Still, that doesn't explain why something wouldn't have popped up telling me I couldn't do it. Also, it even registers on the gallery listing that there are 21, but it does not list or even show the new ones.

A-kon will be in Dallas the 29-31 of May, what days should I book the hotel for?

29th through the first of June? I was thinking this, but someone else confused me with their dates.

Hey, I just had a quick question about posts not showing up. I know it says sometimes posts get caught in the spam filter, but it's been nearly 24 hours since I replied to a thread and my post still hasn't shown up. I thought I should just check to see if there could be another cause. The thread was quite old (I found it via the search, the thread was started back in '06), so could that have something to do with it? Maybe it was just the spam filter, but I was hoping to get an answer to my question within a couple of days so I thought I should double check.

Actually, we'd really prefer you not reply to threads that are that old. If the last thread you can find on your topic hasn't been posted to for more than a year (or three years in this case), it's best to just start a new one at that point.

Another quick question - I posted in the "who do you look like" cosplay thread looking for suggestions, first time it took over 2 days and nothing showed up so I posted again and it still hasn't gone through. Is it just because spam filters are a bit slow? (If so I'll just delete the second post or whatever)
I don't think it was a super old thread though, people are still posting in it so I'm unsure what the problem is. Hope this post shows up, haha.
