Akatsuki costume tutorial?

Hey y'all. As you can see I'm a bit new here, and I've checked the stickied topic for tutorials, but my question wasn't mentioned there. Anyway, on to the plea - Does anyone have a tutorial that thoroughly explains how to make an Akatsuki costume [from Naruto]? I'm sorry if this question has already been asked - and answered - many times. You can just link me to the same thread if it's the case. Thank you very much in advance.

P.S. Yes, I've tried the search option without much luck - I get tutorials on Akatsuki props like the rings/headbands, but never the cloak itself.

Yes, to no success. The few useful topics I found, once again, were on specific Akatsuki props and none of them were demands/tutorials of the actual cloak itself. The closest I found was concerning the pattern on the Akatsuki cloak, but I'm looking for how to make the whole cloak - not the props.

Then I'd suggest you try someplace other than the props forum. :P

These threads came up in my search.

Hope it helps.

Thank you very much, Beryl. The third link [save the best for last >_>] is the exact answer I'm looking for, and I'm surprised I didn't find it myself. Thank you for taking the time to search it up yourself and providing the necessary link. I owe you one =]

well you could just get some black fabric and make a long cloak. without the neck thing yet. then sew on the designs. then make the neck thing with the fabric and some wiring then sew that on. and the coat has to have buttons which you just sew on the buttons on one side and cut small holes in the fabric on the other side in the same spot.

there you go an akatsuki outfit. handmade.

I recommend the tutorials Beryl spoke about; I know a few people who've used that and ended up with awesome Akatsuki cloaks. :] Good luck!
