Georgia Cosplayers!

I wanted to start a new thread for the GA cosplayers (or ECC) out there and to start planning for the next photo shoot. Past suggestions have been animes with industrial settings such as FMA, FF, etc. I will be scouting the greater Atlanta area for backgrounds to shoot at. I also suggest having it in Jan or Feb when things have slowed down and people are more available. I personally would love to have a Bleach shoot but Im open to anything.

YAY!!! OK well, I think for the next meet-up, we should make it Robert's and Kei's birthday party/hang out. So We can let them pick out where it will be and what is going to happend I guess ^.^ All I know is that Kei wants an icecream cake, and Robert said he would like that too!! hehe yummy!! I know Robert and Kei both LOVE bleach! But, we had also talked about doing Parakiss to go with the industrial theme, so I guess we'll just see how it unfolds ^.^

I can't wait to hang out with everyone again, It was a very nice experience last time and I know i'll be there for more!!!!!

cool! if we still have time, i think we could be able to squeeze in a Bleach shoot too(a lot of the shinigamis stat to appear in casual clothes)

*excited* yeahyeah me too! A FMA shoot would be awesome, and give me more incentive to make a FMA costume (since I want to, for Ranger purposes anyway. Gotta show love ^^). I'm still stuck on my Naruto-shoot-at-a-playground idea. Am I the only one who thinks thats cool?? *blinkblink*

Isamu85 : Wanna do a Bleach main theme? ^.^ *KON!!* (you have to bring the kon costume!!)

Of course we can dress as whoever we want ^.^ Kei said he would need lots more time to do his bleach costume because he wants it to be perfect, so I guess me and him will be arashi and miwako again -_-U lol But He loves bleach! so we can have bleach figure on the cake or somthing! lol

Nagi XIII : I Love the idea! I wasn't planning on doing anything Naruto because of its popularity, but I did want to do Konohamaru's sexy no jitsu *like Naruto's 13 years old version* But I dunno. I do have a tenten costume, but it needs work!! -.- Maybe we can do that photoshoot in the spring!? Know any good playgrounds?

I would also be open for Naruto as its something I originally wanted to do but got into so many other things soon after. I love the character Jiraiya and have always wanted to cosplay him. *Thinking of him riding a little ducky swing* And I gotta love the good Orochimaru cosplays.How strange would that be for him to be at a playground...

I just want to cosplay Gaara, and go sit in a sandbox *grin*.
But of course, there are a lot of fun shots to do. Jiraiya on a ducky swing, I love. What kind of pose for Orochi-sama...hmmmm...
Naruto on the monkey bars, too.
Yeah, the series is popular, but Naruto cosplay photos can really be awesome if the costume's good, the cosplayer's doing someone they can pull off well, and the set-up of the shot (pose, location, lighting, etc.) is creative/funny/good.

wow! so many costume themes and solittle time lol! I think that January should be the industrial theme and Febuary could be the Naruto theme.(question is where to find a good playground^_^

Sounds like a plan. I will actually really have to get things together for the Naruto one- I am SO behind on my cosplays. There is actually a pretty good playground - a whole bunch of them- over here in Norcross at the Picneyville Park. Its easy to get to and not too far out of Atlanta- its near where the Jap resturant and game room is.

Hmm, Right now my only cosplay is Bridget from Guilty Gears: XX. I am not sure how I am going to incorperate that with anyone of our photoshoots, I'll figure something out, if I can't cospaly, I'll do photography and hang out with teh peeps

speaking of photography, turned in some of the film from the Chibli photoshoot, I am super strapped for cash right now, so I can't garuntee how soon they'll all be up, that's even if they turned out, was my first time really using a fully manual camera.

I think it would be a good idea to have one photoshoot a month. Like, an "industrial" one in January, Naruto in February....we could all decide/vote on other ones. Now when we say "industrial"...what kinda stuff is being considered? FMA? Anything with some kind of military/army? Serial Experiments Lain O.o? Paranoia Agent?

I would enjoy doing a Guilty Gear shoot. Dressing up as Faust would be funnnn.

Oh, and being short on cash...I know the feeling. Like, "Hmmmm, should I go Christmas shopping for my friends and family, go to the grocery store, or buy some more fabric?" Tricky decisions, indeed.
