I took quite a few screen captures from the ballroom scene and found some really high res ones of Squalls SeeD uniform. I've collected them on my web site:
http://www.divideby0.com/cosplay/res.../seed_uniform/ If you need more of them from anywhere in the game, check out: http://eyesonff.com/ff8/screens.shtml Good luck. :) |

I sure do. Here you go:

Thanks, Michi! I was finally able to capture those shots after several tries of click-pause, click-pause, click-pauses. Persistence paid off in the end, LOL.

No problem, Blargh. I'm always glad to help. I know how they'd be made by clothing factories, but as for the everyday cosplayer....hmmm.....now that's a tricky one. You can always try carving the design on craft foam and painting it silver. Foam has been my friend through many cosplay adventures. Or you can try to cut it out of fabric and handsew it on. But, that's probably too time consuming. Your best bet would be to draw out the design on the fabric with chalk and then use fabric paint to paint it in. Hopefully, one of these ideas work.

well how to clothing factories do it? since my mom owns one i don't think it'd be too hard convincing her to make a couple designs for an important cause.

Something along the lines of embroidery, I think? I'm not really sure what it's called. I have a picture of my shirt that shows what I'm talking about. Look at the words to the sides of the patch. (Sorry about the quality, my webcam isn't the greatest)
