Hey everybody. ALA is in less than two months, and I'm really excited! How about you guys?
I have questions, though, about the Masquerade. I thought about entering, but I'm a little worried because I've never participated in a Masquerade before, and I'm not sure what they entail.
From what I've heard and researched on the ALA website there are two categories: Presentation, which is mainly skits and songs, and craftsmanship, which is the costume itself. But what do you do on stage if you're only entering craftsmanship? Is it like a catwalk where you just model your costume? Do you have
to do a skit? Are ALA's masquerades different than others?
Please help a confuzzled n00b! XD I'm still a relative newbie to cosplay, but I would love to be in a masquerade all the same. I just don't want everyone to laugh at me if I do the wrong thing or something...
