Wouldnt believe it, but these costumes took mostely a lot of time but roughly around $25 dollars for both. hell the most expensive items were the spray paint. Half the fabric was a gift from a friend a long time ago, the pants and tabard fabric was 5 dollars for the whole bolt. Which was like 7 yards.

Dang, you really lucked out with all that! Especially the fabrics, they are so lush and exotic.

Yeah, I am really going to get back to work on her after our con in August.. I guess I'm such a perfectionist when it comes to my Midna cosplay, maybe a little too much LOL. All I know is, ever since I've put her on the back burner, I've been learning and discovering new and different techniques, as well as finding much better supplies than I originally had planned to use. That and I need to lose about 20 lbs, I've really let myself go. >.> I will say this for sure, she will be 1,000x better than when I first started on her!

Aww, thank you! I also plan to make different variations of her design, such as the night robe posted in my gallery.

im glad to see a lot of you guys still on here posting! I really enjoy seeing everyones completed projects, so keep up all the hard work. I havent done any LoZ costumes since last year, so i feel kinda bad.

I am currently brain storming making a Burne costume from Spirit tracks.I should be getting it done later in the year, Hopefully by Halloween.... Its going to be my first wig styling - somehow i have never really did anything with wigs in 5 years of cosplaying. im a little concerned with the hand too... hopefully i wont end up tearing my hair out making it.

Hey guys! Got my Sheik done for Anime North. I didn't get to do any personal photoshoots, so here are just 2 cellphone shots my friend took. I'm hoping to get a shoot done at FanExpo this year.

Right now I'm stumped on footwear though. I'm wearing a zentai suit which doesn't provide any heels or support for the foot at all. I tried glueing a sole at the bottom, but it still didn't provide support and ended up detaching. For the con, I just painted some watershoes as a plan B.


Anybody got a recommendation on what I can add/use as footwear that won't ruin the look of the suit? Thanks in advance!

On a unitard I did one time, I used watershoes, but I cut the cloth off the shoe and sewed the sole to the unitard's foot.

Aww, thank you! I think that's a double edged sword though since it takes me so long to actually finish stuff.
