My friend: "I couldn't find my other stocking, so I need to make a sword."
Out of context this makes zero sense. She was cosplaying Stocking from Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt, and Stocking's stockings turn into swords. So, because she could only locate one stocking, she had to make a sword. =p

Friend: "Isn't that an 18+ panel?"
Me: "Yeah, but it's Daddy's 18+ panel. Of course she'll let us in."
We did get in, in the end. It rocked. We were examples. Daddy loves us.

Me: "Hey mom, can you see my butt in this skirt?"
Mom: "Just a little, yeah."
Me: "Perfect!"
...I was cosplaying Panty. Shut up.

Friend: "I have to get new shorts for my Pokemon Trainer costume. My dad threw my old ones away because he said they were pornographic."
There is nothing to say about this. It's exactly like it sounds.

Me: "MOM. Where are my hooker boots? I need to pack them!"
Mom: "I already did."
My boots for my Liz Thompson cosplay. They're pure evil.

"I can't wait to go fabric shopping!" (I used to hate sewing...)
"Sure, I can style that wig for you." (HOW DID I BECOME THE WIG EXPERT???)

I had just came back after a con and took off my wig. I glanced in the mirror and was shocked with how much accenting of the eyes my makeup was.

I was at a con and my friend sat down holding my camera. She put it beside her while she was looking through her bag. I asked for "the camera" and she picked up one that was sitting beside my camera. For some odd reason I thought it was hers and it took us a minute to realize that it didn't belong to either of us. I just awkwardly set it back down and put my own camera back in my bag. A few seconds later, the Sasuke cosplayer that had been fixing something on her costume turned around, gave me a look, and grabbed her camera and walked off. Awkward. ._.

I said this when I was dressed as Aerith and my cactuar fell out of my basket in the hall and I proceeded to chase it as it rolled.

Lol, my mom and sisters are quite surprised that I wear make up sometimes and have an actual collection of shoes now but they don't know about my cosplaying since I didn't start till I moved out. I'll let future me handle that.

I got my female friend to yell out "I touch myself!" at Anime Boston in....2011. Walking down the hallway on the third floor on Sunday.... I started singing "I touch myself"..... She joined in when I got to "When I think ABOUT YOU!" I just stopped and she yelled it out "I touch myself!".... which in turn got a guy off to the side that said to her "Glad to know you do that when you think about me"...... God, the events conventions can grant, I can't give them up, never.
