I need you!

I need people who have dressed up as (mostly Marvel) superheroes and have their own costumes - people who can appear as these superheroes in a feature film starring a popular Marvel heroine.

We are filming in Los Angeles, California.

Spider-man in particular is a major character we need, but it's not a Spider-man film.

Anyway, for my next film, I've decided to do something along the lines of Batman: Dead End, creating a fanfilm about the adventures of a favorite Marvel superheroine. I won't say who, but if you read comics you'll probably guess by the end of this message.

We have finished casting and are shooting beginning in January.

She's a slightly offbeat character, and to give this film some color, I wanted to include guest appearances by other characters in the Marvel universe (and even the DC universe). Because this film is low-budget (and the heroine's costume very simple) I can't really create or buy that many superhero costumes myself.

So I'm casting for people who can provide their own costumes, people who have created Marvel superhero costumes for a comic convention or Halloween or wherever ..... People who when costumed look like the spitting image of that character and could play that character in a feature film. Or people who are willing to take the challenge and create a costume to appear in this film.

This is going to be an amazing project and you'll enjoy being a part of it.

I see you live in Canada. Too bad, we could really use a Scarlet Witch. Don't suppose you have your own video camera? Or don't suppose we could borrow the costume?

Ah well. It's a "gypsy" version and that's not quite what we're going for anyway. Too bad though.

Come on L.A. and San Diego people, I really need superheroes here, we're shooting soon.
